- ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ will be released in North America on August 19.
- The film will be distributed in nearly 2,300 theatres across North America, including some Imax sites.
- In August and September, the movie will be launched in worldwide markets.
‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,’ directed by Tetsuro Kodama and featuring an all-star Japanese voice cast, was made with the full involvement of Dragon Ball’s original creator Akira Toriyama, who worked on the film’s original narrative, script, and character design.

The original ‘Dragon Ball’ manga, created by Toriyama, was initially published in Japan in 1984 and has since sold over 260 million copies worldwide. The property has spawned a slew of adaptations, including animated TV shows, feature films, computer games, and merchandise.
The official synopsis of the show states that “Son Goku once annihilated the Red Ribbon Army. Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are the ultimate Androids built by people who continue the spirit of the game. “Super Heroes.”
