Imran Khan warns system of justice is under threat

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that system of justice is under threat as the corrupt rulers are destroying the institutions of the state.

He blamed Shehbaz Sharif, who had used his servants for his money laundering, for pressurising FIA, NAB and Investigating agencies’ officials and targeting, a number of officers who have died of heart attacks.

He made these remarks while addressing workers in Islamabad on Wednesday.

He said that now in Pakistan, one law for the weak and other law for the powerful and rich people are being practiced.

Imran Khan asked his workers not only to convince the people for political struggle but also preach them and tell the importance of Kalme-e-Tayyaiba, which teaches human beings that Except Allah Almighty there is no one to be worshipped, The Kalme-e-Tayyaiba teaches us not to bow down before any earthly god. He said this while addressing a workers’ convention in Islamabad on Wednesday.

He said that Kalme-e-Tayyaiba unites the Muslim Ummah regardless their race, colour and language.

He said that Pakistan Movement was based on the Kalme-e-Tayyaiba, and the PTI was again launching movement for full freedom of the country.

He further said that livelihood and life are in the hands of Allah, except Him, no one can provide meal and protect life.

He criticised the law enforcement agencies’ role during the PTI long march, adding that the police personnel resorted tear gas against the participants, those in police and bureaucracy who obeyed the illegal orders of the corrupt rulers, committed sins by torturing the innocent women, children and workers during the protest.

He lamented that the PTI workers was pushed down from Ravi Bridge and killed.

The former prime minister said that the PTI government had never stopped any protest and long march taken out against his government.

He maintained that peaceful protest was the right of every citizen in democracy but in Pakistan the PTI was not being allowed to hold a peace protest, adding that this never happens in any democratic country.

He said that the imported government had not come into power to serve the masses but come to end their corruption cases.

He recalled that these corrupt rulers were running campaigns against the PTI government in the name of the inflation but they had increased dearness many folds.

He further said the ratings of Pakistan and Wapda had downgraded by the international agencies.

Imran asserted that Pakistan was making progress in every field of economy including industry, agriculture and others.

He again demanded fresh and fair elections in the country at once.
