We can’t get enough of the Duchess of Cambridge’s Royal Ascot winning style. Despite the fact that Kate Middleton didn’t make her debut at the famed racing event until 2016, we’ve been treated to numerous stunning fascinators and exquisite dresses since then.
The Cambridges aren’t the most horsey of royals, unlike notable equestrians Zara Tindall and Princess Anne — and it’s been said that Middleton is allergic to the animal — but on the few occasions we’ve seen the duchess at Royal Ascot, we’ve been treated to some truly lovely costumes.

Although it appeared to be brand new, the swishy midi featured sheer sleeves and a delicately tiered skirt with nude lining, and she had only worn it a month before.
The duchess had previously worn the gown under a red Zara cape-style coat to the Royal Windsor Horse Show, with the dress barely visible.
The princess is accessorised with pearl drop earrings, a mesh saucer-style hat with white floral details, and an L.K. Bennett clutch.

When the duchess turned up at Royal Ascot the next year in a nearly identical white lace ensemble, fashion fans did a double-take. This time, she wore an Alexander McQueen gown, which differed significantly from the one she wore in 2016 for Dolce & Gabbana.
The dress had a taller, scalloped neckline, a waist ribbon belt, and a small peplum. Middleton also went for a shorter length this time, with a hemline that fell just below the knee, adhering to the rigorous Ascot dress rule.
She wore the same suede Gianvito Rossi heels as last year, with a matching white hat with floral accents, a tan clutch by Loeffler Randall, and a tan handbag by Loeffler Randall.
Middleton stole Her Majesty’s Bahrain pearl and diamond earrings from the Queen, which she would subsequently wear during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
