KABUL: A local charitable organisation has arrange a mass wedding party for 70 couples in Afghanistan’s capital city, Kabul, as per the Afghan news agency.

“The Silab Foundation held a mass wedding for 70 couples in Kabul yesterday. The couples were unable to arrange wedding parties individually due to economic problems,” as per Bakhtar’s report.

It is costly to hold a wedding ceremony in Afghanistan. In a typical wedding, the groom’s family must invite hundreds of guests from both the groom and bride’s families, which might cost anywhere from $10,000 to 20,000 dollars.
