Both Russia and Ukraine use heavier weaponry against one other; but Russia’s are more powerful, according to Finnish President Sauli Niinisto. According to statements cited by the Finnish Broadcasting Company; Mr Niinisto said that Finland and other Western nations have been careful; to only give Ukraine with weapons that Russia would also use; ensuring that the West cannot be blamed of exacerbating the crisis.

However, he claims that Russian weapons are more powerful, and that they contain thermobaric bombs; which he calls “weapons of mass devastation.”
Thermobaric weapons are divisive because they are far more lethal than conventional explosives of comparable size; and they have a devastating effect on anyone caught in their explosion radius.
