 Andrew Garfield honours Zendaya at the TIME 100 Gala

  • Andrew Garfield and Zendaya were both honoured at the TIME 100 Gala on Wednesday.
  • The actor gushed about his co-star in a new interview with ET.
  • He called her “incredibly powerful” and “deeply talented”.

Andrew Garfield has nothing but positive things to say about Zendaya. Garfield talked up about the actress and her abundance of skill in a new interview with ET on Wednesday at the TIME 100 Gala, and also replied to being honoured for his genius at the event. The duo recently made waves when their Variety Actors on Actors interview wowed fans and onlookers alike, as the two discussed life and performing in-depth.

Zendaya, in addition to Garfield, was one of the honorees during the event. “I haven’t seen it, but I loved doing it with her,” Garfield said of his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star during the interview.  She’s a formidable human being .” “Just incredibly powerful and incredibly humble and deeply talented, and emotionally intelligent and caring, ” he continued to extol her. “I’m like, ‘Where are you burying the bodies, Zendaya?” Garfield joked. Because like, what’s going on? Who have you murdered? And when is that gonna come out?”

The actor, on the other hand, holds Zendaya and her abilities in high regard. He went on to say, “She’s a remarkable person and fun. She’s all that and incredibly fun to talk to and deep. I admire her so much as an actress and an artist.” The two artists were named to TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2022, which comes as no surprise given their incredible year thus far, which has included not only their record-breaking Marvel blockbuster but also Garfield’s Oscar nomination and Zendaya’s critically acclaimed performance as Rue, the struggling drug addict, in her ongoing HBO series Euphoria.
