Shahid Kapoor’s wife released a video of the two actresses discussing how they are constantly interrupted while on the phone at home. Whereas their husbands, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, are not.

Agreeing with their thoughts, Mira wrote, “Equality starts at and extends to the home. Whatever she does, a woman’s work deserves respect. So next time you think about interrupting her calls, be ready to be asked what to make for the dinner in the middle of yours.”

Shahid Kapoor recently opened up about his personal life. Saying that he now considers his children when making work decisions. He said, “You want to do the right things and put the right message out for your children. When you give your time to something outside of your home, the first thought is, ‘Will my family be happy and proud of what I have done, sacrificing the time I could have spent with them? Will they stand up and say that dad we love what you do and we are proud and happy that you went and did it?”
