Seven French suspects and one Italian face charges of taking a Banksy artwork from a terrorist attack site in 2015. On Wednesday, eight men were charged with removing a Banksy artwork that was painted on the Bataclan concert venue’s door; to commemorate 90 people murdered in the city’s 2015 attacks.
The seven French defendants and one Italian are accused of stealing the metal door from the building; and transporting it to Italy before morning in January 2019.

It was adorned in 2018 by an unnamed British street artist with a stencil of a melancholy young woman; giving it an estimated worth of up to one million euros ($1.1 million).
On January 26, 2019, a white van with hidden number plates was seen halting in an alleyway; running near the Bataclan in central Paris.
