Tunisia and the United Kingdom have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on British technical and financial help for Tunisia’s renewable energy growth, according to the Tunisian news agency.

Tunisia has established a programme aimed at producing up to 35% of domestic needs from renewable energies between 2022 and 2025, according to a Tunisian minister on the sidelines of the signing event, adding that “the MoU is an opportunity to take advantage of the British expertise in this field.”
