- In a recent interview, Ross and Matt Duffer recognised that they were wrong to kill off a character who the fans adored for several reasons.
Stranger Things season 4 viewers adored Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham’s relationship, which grew even stronger after Eddie dubbed Chrissy the “Queen of Hawkins high.”

As a result, fans were disappointed to see her brutally murdered at the end of the first episode.
Now the makers are experiencing cognitive dissonance, wondering, ‘What have we done?’

“We always have those moments,” Matt said in an interview with TVLine. “We shot the drug trade scene in the woods very late, actually, into shooting.”
