According to The Hindustan Times, two sons in India murdered their 42-year-old mother for reportedly practising black magic and refusing to let them marry a woman of their choosing.
Within 24 hours of the crime, the perpetrators were apprehended by police. The offenders admitted to assassinating their mother, Nirmala Thakur, because she refused to let their oldest son, Akshay, marry his fiancée, Komal.
Thakur shared a home with her husband Vijay and their two sons. Akshay is 25 years old, but his younger brother is only 15 years old. On June 4, between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., she was slain with a sharp object.
At work, Vijay was on night duty. He returned home around 6 a.m. to find his wife dead. He immediately notified the authorities and called his father.
There were no forced entrances or indicators of robbery, according to the inquiry. The squad realised it was an inside job, according to police inspector Satish Pawar of the Wadala police station.
The criminals confessed to the police, claiming that they had informed their mother that they were going on a picnic. They were, however, near to the house in reality.
The oldest son had regular heated disagreements with his mother about marrying Komal, according to neighbours.
