The defamation trial of actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard ended today after six weeks. Johnny won the $50 million case at a trial conducted in Fairfax, Virginia.
After she lost the case, a Saudi Arabian man send a marriage proposal to Amber on Instagram. He even recorded a voice message for Amber, claiming to be better than ‘old guy’ Johnny Depp.

In the voice note a man said, “Amber since all doors are closing on you, you have no one except me to take care of you. I’ve noticed that some people hate and bully you, therefore, I decided to marry you. May Allah bless us both. You are a blessing, but people don’t appreciate that. I am better than that old man.”

Johnny won a high-profile defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber, on Wednesday. When Amber claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse, Johnny claimed she had defamed him. Johnny was granted $15 million in damages by the jury. Amber has also won a portion of her libel action against Johnny, which stemmed from statements made by Johnny’s former lawyer, in which he called Amber’s allegations of domestic abuse a fake. Amber was granted $2 million in damages by the jury.
It should be noted that, Johnny and Amber married in a very private wedding in their Los Angeles home in 2015 after dating for several years. She filed for divorce on May 23, 2016, and secured a temporary restraining order against the Oscar nominee.
