Despite rising inflation, the growth in employee salaries is also subjected to the approval of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to Finance Ministry sources, the approval of salaries in the coming budget would be after consent from IMF.
Source added that the proposal will be part of the budget after the IMF sanction and the Ministry will present three different options for raising salaries to the authority.

Meanwhile, the proposals have been made to raise the salaries of government employees by 5 to 15 percent and instead of increasing the basic salary, government employees are likely to be given Ad-hoc Relief Allowance. Employees will get a Relief Allowance after IMF approval.
Earlier, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail reported that staff level concurrence with the IMF is normal in the following month (June).
