Angelina Jolie has previously stated to the Japan Times that she had always wanted to work with Johnny in The Tourist, saying, “Angie was smitten with actor Johnny Depp, who played Edward, an isolated figure with scissors for hands. The movie’s themes of alienation and self-discovery spoke to the angst-ridden Angie.”

She added, “What actress hasn’t? I’ve thought he was the coolest thing for years. I practically grew up with him, and had such a crush on him in Edward Scissorhands.”

Angelina  An Unauthorized Biography, the book claimed, “At the same time, Angie dressed like a punk and identified with outsiders like the hero of Edward Scissorhands, the cult movie released in December 1990 that was a must-see for every goth worth her black mascara.”

Johnny had also referred to Angelina as a “walking poetry” when promoting their picture. While he believes Angelina Jolie is a “perfect beauty,” he also thinks she is brilliant, witty, and humorous.

In 1983, Johnny Depp made his first walk down the aisle with makeup artist Lori Anne Allison. Two years later, they divorced. He married Amber Heard in February 2015, and they were married until Amber filed for divorce in May 2016. In 2014, Angelina Jolie married Brad Pitt. They filed for divorce two years later, in 2016, and it was finalised three years later.
