As per the city’s earthquake relief offices on Thursday, four people were confirmed dead and 41 others were injured after a 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Ya’an in southwest China’s Sichuan province on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the headquarters, 34 people were killed in Baoxing County and 11 people were injured in Lushan County as of 9 a.m. Thursday.

As per the report, the earthquake harmed 13,081 individuals in Ya’an.
China Earthquake Networks Center stated, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake shook Lushan County of Ya’an in Sichuan at 5 p.m. Wednesday Chinese news agency (CENC).

According to the provincial seismic authority, the 6.1-magnitude Lushan earthquake was an aftershock of a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck the country in 2013.
