Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland’s prime minister, said his country is modernizing its transportation infrastructure to help ease the shipment of grain and other essential exports from Ukraine.
They have been badly hampered by Russia’s war.
Morawiecki spoke at Borodyanka, Ukraine, near Kyiv, which had been seriously damaged by Russian bombardment.
He was there to dedicate container houses built by Poland for people who had been displaced by the violence.
According to Morawiecki, Poland, a member of the European Union, is working to improve its transportation infrastructure and flow capacity in order to allow the export of millions of tons of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products around the world.
Morawiecki stated that Poland is receiving EU cash for this reason.
