LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders have requested for bail before arrests from the Lahore High Court in view of avoiding arrests before the second long march to Islamabad on the call of Chairman Imran Khan demanding fresh election, Bol News reported on Tuesday.
The PTI leaders who requested bail included Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Andaleeb Abbasi, Dr Yasmin Rashid and a few others. The bail request was put before the court by Advocate Rana Mudassir. The copy of bail request is available with Bol News.
The PTI leaders are expected to participate in the long march with all passion and zeal.
Imran Khan said on Monday that he did not give sit-in at Islamabad to avoid bloodshed. Speaking at the party’s lawyer convention, the PTI chief said that the western system is supported by its judicial system. “Our generations won’t forgive us if this foreign conspiracy is not dealt with,” he said. “It is the first time that a government was dismissed not because of graft cases.”

The former prime minister said that it is the first time people came out on streets to protest against a government’s removal further adding that he doesn’t want enmity with the United States but he won’t let the nation surrender before it.
“India is US’ strategic ally but will New Delhi allow the US to drone attack them. Over 400 drone strikes happened between the tenure of Nawaz and Zardari,” he said. “No one checked. They attacked villages, weddings, madrasahs. Not a single word came out against international human right laws.”
Our biggest terrorist Altaf Hussain is based in the UK, should we drone him, he asked. “They have brought their slaves because they are going to agree on every of their demand.” Imran Khan said that what could be more shameful that the government representative faced slogans against them in the Madinah.
