Rosgvardia (Russian Guard) personnel from the Krasnodar unit, who was due to be deployed for their second deployment after participating in the conflict against Ukraine in February-April, filed reports refusing to go to war.
According to reports, Kavkaz.Realii cited a source familiar with the situation.
One of the servicemen involved also confirmed the facts.
The Guardsmen, according to the source, are exceedingly upset with the payments they received for their two-month deployment, which were far less than what the propaganda media promised. One of the reasons they disobeyed orders was because of this.

“We just got our salary for the second month of our stay there a few days ago.” We were paid RUB 100,000 for the first month, and now it’s RUB 50,000. The reason for this, according to the interlocutor, is due to the fluctuating dollar exchange rate. “The compensation is computed at $50 per day, but the money is finally transmitted in roubles at the official rate,” the command explained.
On March 10, Russia’s official dollar exchange rate was RUB 120, and on May 26, it was RUB 56.
Five personnel in his battalion had filed for retirement owing to age, according to the source. He also knows of at least five other servicemen who have declined to be photographed.
