The Ukrainian military has reported progress in its counteroffensive in the south; as well as ongoing efforts to halt Russian advances in the eastern Donbass region.
Additional Russian operations to weaken Ukrainian fortifications in Luhansk and Donetsk were reported Monday, with artillery, airstrikes, and missiles; being utilised in various locations, including Lysychansk and Soledar, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian pressure on Severodonetsk, where two-thirds of the city’s properties have been reported damaged, continues, with the General Staff claiming that hostilities in and around the city are still ongoing.
