The ill-fated Twin Otter jet was carrying 19 passengers and three crew members when it went missing on Sunday morning, only minutes after taking off from Pokhara, Nepal, for a flight to Jomsom, the Mustang district’s alpine town.

The plane had four Indians and two Germans on board.

The Nepali Army’s search and rescue mission has been hindered by poor weather conditions.

According to Netra Prasad Sharma, chief district officer of Mustang, an 11-member rescue team is at the accident site rescuing the victims’ corpses, and no additional teams have been able to fly to the site owing to terrible weather.
