Microsoft discovered four high-severity issues in Android System apps that have received millions of downloads. The business also stated that the problem has been resolved.

The flaws, on the other hand, could have allowed threat actors to stage remote and local assaults; or be utilised as routes for obtaining sensitive information by exploiting their vast system rights.
“As with many of the pre-installed or default applications that most Android devices come with these days,” the Microsoft 365 Defender Research Team wrote in a report, “some of the impacted apps cannot be fully deleted or disabled without acquiring root access to the device.”
