KARACHI: An upsetting incident in Karachi left two people dead and three injured when the roof of a private hotel in Karachi collapsed.

As per rescue officials, the bomb disposable squad reached the spot soon after the incident however, no evidence of a terror attack was found.

Police, Rangers, and rescue agencies rushed to the spot and the injured and deceased were shifted to the hospital.

As per sources, several other people got stuck under the fallen roof at the hotel situated near Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).

The hotel management said that investigations were carried out and no evidence was found of terrorism. However, further investigations are underway regarding the details.

While expressing grief over the deaths, the management claimed that they have been in touch with the families of the injured and deceased and all possible help will be provided.
