Russian President Vladimir Putin informed Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi that he is willing to make a big contribution to resolving the global food crisis if the West lifts its sanctions.

Mr. Putin stated that Russia was prepared to provide grain and fertilizer to help with the issue.

He also assured Mr. Draghi that Russia was ready to continue supplying Italy with gas without interruption.
