Piers Morgan, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez all expressed outrage over the tragic school massacre in Texas

Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Piers Morgan all expressed their outrage at the horrible mass shooting at a Texas high school, pleading with Congress to enact tighter gun restrictions.

Former Good Morning Britain host and 32-year-old vocalist joined Selena Gomez, Priyanka Chopra, and others in pleading for a change in American gun regulations.

The horrible school shooting resulted in the deaths of 21 individuals, including 19 innocent children and two instructors.

Following the tragedy, celebrities took to social media to express their outrage and call on legislators to modify gun regulations.

Swift was outraged by the tragedy and wrote: “The killings in Uvalde left me filled with hatred and despair. By Buffalo, Laguna Woods, and a slew of other places. By the manner in which we have gotten conditioned to unfathomable and painful grief as a country. Steve’s statements are both truthful and profound.”

Piers Morgan claims that schoolchildren are being “slaughtered.” On Twitter, he wrote: “Nothing was done after Sandy Hook to prevent another school tragedy like that from occurring. It has now happened once more. The massacre of schoolchildren in their classrooms should not be a political issue. Stop the politicised nonsense, America, and do something about it.”

“Today in my home state of Texas, 18 innocent children were slain while only attempting to receive an education,” Selena Gomez said on Instagram. A teacher was slain while doing her work, which is vital yet tragically underappreciated. Where are children safe if they are not safe at school?

“It’s so irritating, and I’m at a loss for words.” Those in authority must quit lip service and really reform the laws to avoid future shootings.”

“Condolences are not enough,” Nick Jonas’ wife Priyanka Chopra remarked. There is still work to be done. “How sad.”
