On Wednesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with participants from a nationwide conference on activities connected to the management of people’s complaints.
Xi, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the chairman of the Central Military Commission, congratulated the meeting’s honorees and sent heartfelt wishes to officials and people working in the system for dealing with public concerns.

Both Li Keqiang and Wang Huning, members of the CPC Central Committee’s Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, were present.
Xi exchanged pleasantries and posed for photographs with the representatives in the Great Hall of the People.
Guo Shengkun, a member of the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau and the head of the CPC Central Committee’s Commission for Political and Legal Affairs, delivered a speech during the conference.
