Russian soldiers have already taken control of 95% of the Luhansk region’s area. On Telegram, Serhii Haidai, the chairman of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, stated this.
“The Luhansk region’s area is occupied to the tune of 95%. The situation in Donbas is a disaster. The horde that is destroying our settlements is still being held back in the Luhansk region. The shelling continues unabated “he wrote.
The Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway is also being shelled, according to him. “An enemy subversive group took to the road yesterday, there was a shooting, and the Russians even managed to set up checkpoints, but the road is not blocked today, and humanitarian aid has been given,” he claimed.
Sievierodonetsk is not encircled, according to Haidai, with up to 15,000 people surviving in the community’s town and villages. Over 40,000 people live in the Luhansk region’s government-controlled sector, and 99 percent of them refuse to leave.
Because there is no gas supply in the Luhansk region due to enemy bombardment, a bakery in Lysychansk is unable to operate. However, local officials ensured that bread would be available.
Previously, Haidai debunked claims that the Russian troops had cut the Luhansk region off from Ukraine and closed the Lysychansk-Bakhmut route.
