Pakistan left-hand batsman Shan Masood has been named captain of the Derbyshire County Cricket Club for the upcoming Vitality Blast.
The club took it to Twitter and shared the new development.

Shan remained the top run-scorer for the Derbyshire in the County Championship Division two with 844 runs with two double centuries.
He is all set to lead the team in their first match against Birmingham Bears in the T20 tournament on May 27.
Earlier, Shan also captained the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans, SOuthern Pakistan in the domestic league and Bagh Stallions in Kashmir Premier League (KPL).
