Dr. David told Independant.com that he feels Johnny’s “thinking pace” has slowed and that his attention and memory have been harmed as a result of his drug and alcohol usage. Drug abuse, he stated, “will make us disinhibited and will make us act out, in a lot of different ways including intimate partner violence.”
Johnny displayed “narcissistic traits” and conduct that indicated he had a substance use condition, according to Dr. David. He was questioned about the so-called Goldwater Rule of the American Psychiatric Association, which states that “unethical for a psychiatrist to offer a professional opinion unless he or she has conducted an examination.” Dr. Spiegel admitted that he did not physically examine Johnny, but that his conclusions as an expert witness were valid.
Johnny Depp, 58, is suing Amber Heard, 36, for $50 million in Virginia, claiming she defamed him by claiming she was a victim of domestic abuse. She countersued for $100 million, claiming that he slandered her by referring to her as a liar.
