Moscow slaps an entry embargo on 154 members of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom Parliament.
The move is taken in retaliation for penalties against Russian senators, according to Russia’s foreign ministry.
The decision was made “on a reciprocal basis,” according to the ministry.
It is the reaction to London’s imposition of sanctions on practically all members of Russia’s Federation Council, the country’s upper chamber of parliament, in March.
William Hague, a former foreign minister and Conservative Party leader, was among those targeted by Moscow.
