According to a poll, the majority of Ukrainians believe that Russia should not be awarded any sections of their nation as part of a peace settlement.
According to a poll done by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, one of the country’s premier pollsters, 82 percent of respondents oppose territorial compromises, even if it means prolonging the conflict and increasing the threat to Ukraine’s independence.
Only 10% of the 2,000 respondents polled thought it was acceptable, with the remaining 8% uncertain.
77 percent of those questioned in Russian-occupied areas were opposed to the plan.
