Motorola Razr 3 is the first foldable phone to be released with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Qualcomm’s flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, was revealed earlier this month. Now it’s up to the smartphone manufacturers to release devices with the new flagship chip. According to Motorola, the Folding Razr 3 will be the first foldable gadget powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Razr had traditionally used a mid-range processor in previous Motorola foldables. The choice of the flagship chipset for the upcoming foldable was unexpected this time.

The Motorola Razr 3’s design has also been seen in leaks on several websites. According to rumours, the Razr 3 will have two back cameras rather than one. The device’s screen size has also been increased. The previous models featured a 6.2-inch inner open display, but the new one will have a 67-inch display. In comparison to previous iterations, the outer cover will be slightly larger.

Motorola’s General Manager, Shen Jin, tweeted a teaser poster on their official Weibo account. The trailer revealed details on the forthcoming Foldable Razr 3. The teaser revealed that the Razr 3 will ship with the SD 8+ Gen 1 card.
