Sydney: The call to prayer resounded at the Cricket Ground

Sydney: After the historic Lord’s ground, the sound of the call to prayer echoed in the Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia.

According to details, former captain Younis Khan’s brother Kamil Khan organized an Eid-ul-Fitr party at Sydney Cricket Ground which was attended by many celebrities including Waqar Younis and Australian fast bowler Brett Lee.

Younis Khan’s brother Kamil Khan, who organized the event, is an entrepreneur and runs a cricket academy.

During the Eid-ul-Fitr party at Sydney Cricket Ground, prayers were offered in the congregation by giving Adhan during Maghrib prayers.

In this regard, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry also shared some pictures on social media and said that the echo of the call to prayer at the Sydney Cricket Ground is a real fusion of different cultures, beliefs and races in Australia.

Last month, for the first time, the Iftar was organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board at the Home of Cricket Lords with the participation of many important personalities.
