Former colleague Eva Green has come out in support of Johnny Depp, who is currently embroiled in a public court battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The 41-year-old French actress has written a heartfelt message in support of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. She believes in Depp’s innocence and wishes for him to be exonerated.

“I have no doubt Johnny will emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world, and life will be better than it has ever been for him and his family,” Eva Green wrote alongside a photo of them.

Previously, the actor defended Johnny in an interview with the French publication Spiegel. She described him as “one of the nicest actors I’ve ever worked with.”

Eva, who co-starred with Depp in Dark Shadows, went on to say that he was a “true gentleman whom I would defend at any time.”
