Shehbaz Sharif also expressed that the news came as a shock to him as he had ordered to reduce the power outage.

Notably, the frequent power load shedding in the country has hard hit the lives of citizens amid scorching hot weather in most parts of Pakistan.

Most of the cities have been bearing the brunt of 12-14 hours of power cuts and the increased duration has intensified the trouble during the prevailing heatwave.
