The song ‘Tu Hai Dhaakad’ from Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Dhakaad’ was released in India. On the banks of the Ganga, the music was projected onto a floating LED screen. However, the song was later released on YouTube as well.

Dhruv Ghanekar, a renowned advertising and film composer, composed the film’s title song. Whereas, it was written by Ishitta Arun, an actress, and writer. While Vasundhara Vee, a jazz singer performed it.

Kangana Ranaut, when asked about the song, stated, “‘Tu Hai Dhaakad’ was released during the final leg of our advertising campaign. Because it sets the tone for the film. Agent Agni is portrayed as an unstoppable force. Who embraces the never-say-die mentality. The song has an anthem-like quality to it. And it captures my character’s tenacity and confidence in her talents.”

Agent Agni’s powerful yet vulnerable characteristics are personified and embodied in ‘Tu Hai Dhaakad.’ The song highlights the titular character’s journey in the film through lyrics and music.

However the Director Razneesh Ghai have a different take on the song. Saying, “I wanted a song that was rousing in nature. I contacted Dhruv Ghanekar, a musician and former advertising executive. I knew he’d be able to figure out what I was thinking and turn it into a song.”

‘Dhaakad,’ which also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. And is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai. While co-produced by Hunar Mukut. The movie will be released in theatres on May 20, 2022.
