Tiktoker Dolly responded to the Margalla Hills Fire controversy

Dolly, a popular Tiktoker, produced a Tiktok video yesterday in which she was singing a song with a heavy fire in the background. According to the public, she sat the forest on fire to make her Tiktok content. The incident sparked widespread public outrage, and Tiktoker was widely chastised by the public and media. Mathira, Mishi Khan, Hamid Mir, Maryam Nafees, Ahmad, and many others condemned the Tiktoker’s foolish behavior.

Today, the Tiktoker produced a video in her defence, in which she claimed that the locals put the forest on fire. Prior to making the Tiktok videos, she questioned local professors about the reason for setting the forest on fire. Locals claimed they set fire to the woodland to eliminate snakes. She then went on to make a couple Tiktok videos, which went viral and sparked backlash. Here’s the  the video.

Later, the Tiktoker released a clarification video in which she stated that whatever transpired on social media was frustrating for her and that people should know the facts before making statements. Here’s a video of her explaining herself.

Local people lit it on fire, according to fans, so she may be correct. A few teased her about her poor material. A number of her fans were skeptical of her story and ridiculed her.
