Huawei’s latest foldable smartphone, the Mate Xs 2, as well as many smartwatches and fitness trackers, were unveiled at a large event earlier today.
The Mate Xs 2 was the star of the show, and it will be available in white, black, and violet color for €1,999 in European markets in June. The device was first introduced in April in China.
Huawei’s latest outward foldable features a 7.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200px and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel folds down to a more one-hand friendly 6.5 inches when folded.
Despite its big size, the Mate Xs 2 weighs only 255 gram, which is significantly less than the Mate Xs (300g) and Huawei’s Mate X2 (295g). The Mate Xs 2 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 4G chipset and is available in a single 8GB RAM/512GB storage configuration.
Around the back, there’s a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto module with 3x optical zoom. EMUI 12 takes care of the software, while the battery capacity is 4,600mAh and supports 66W fast charging.
