The launch of iPhone 14 series was thought to be delayed, but a new leak shows that is not the case.
Apple will announce the iPhone 14 series on September 13, according to a new leak from iDrop News from tipster LeaksApplePro.
The Cupertino-based tech behemoth has yet to release any details regarding the iPhone launch.
The source didn’t say if the event will be conducted online or physically, but he did say there would be more than just iPhones.
Several more items, including AirPods Pro 2 and three Apple Watches, are expected to be unveiled at the event.
The business is presently planning for its 2022 developer conference, which will begin on June 6.
Apple is likely to reveal iOS 16, a newer version of iPadOS, MacOS, and iPadOS during its presentation next month.
Details on the new iPhone 14 series
Apple is likely to release four new iPhone models in the iPhone 14 series, as it does every year.
This year, though, the Mini is set to be phased out and replaced by the Max. iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the four versions planned to be released in 2022.
According to rumors, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will have a larger screen than the standard model, as well as a pill-shaped notch and considerably narrower side bezels.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are expected to have a design similar to the iPhone 13 with a large notch on the front panel.
The A16 Bionic chipset is expected to power all four models, which will be a slightly enhanced version of the A15 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 13 series.
Both the iPhones will also come with iOS 16, which will be introduced at the WWDC event next month.
