The left-handed batsman is having a fantastic season with Derbyshire, where he is the leading run-scorer with 826 runs in only seven innings

The former middle-order batter made these remarks while talking to the media at the National High-Performance Center (NHPC)  batting coach Mohammad Yousuf has praised young batsman Shaun Masood and said that no one has played the way Shaun Masood is playing in county cricket to date.

He further added, “He’s already in the Test team; we’ll have to evaluate where he fits in the ODIs,”.

Talking to the media, Mohammad Yousuf said “A conditioning camp has been established to help the players increase their productivity. We’re also working on the players’ fitness. The sweltering heat will make no difference if their stamina is strong “.

He also said that when all the players perform, the game will improve and efforts are being made to provide more opportunities to the batsmen in Cricket.

Muhammad Yousuf said that Asad Shafiq did not perform satisfactorily in the first class.

Regarding the captain, the batting coach said that Babar Azam is a world-class player and his performance is improving day by day.

He also said that no one has played like Shaun Masood is playing in the county to date.
