Deepika Padukone will be the star of the Cannes Film Festival 2022. And not as an L’Oreal brand representative this time, but as a member of the jury. She shared her look from day one of the festival on Instagram on Tuesday evening.

The actor posted photos of herself wandering around the beach in a patterned grey-green top and green leggings. She’s got a headband on and a big golden necklace on. She posed in front of the sea, soaking up the morning sun.

She chose a shimmering saree with strong makeup for her second look of the day.

Every year, the Cannes Film Festival appoints an eight-member jury from the film industry to decide the winner of the Palme d’Or and other prizes in the main competition. This year’s presiding actor is French actor Vincent Lindon, who won the best actor prize at Cannes in 2015 for The Measure of a Man and played in last year’s Palme winner Titane. Deepika Padukone, Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace, Asghar Farhadi, Joachim Trier, Ladj Ly, Jeff Nichols, and Jasmine Trinca are among the cast members.
