Pankaj went on to say that after the movie was out, he went to see it with his wife in a theatre and discovered that his scene had been taken out.

Years later, Pankaj appeared alongside Hrithik in the films ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Super 30.’ Pankaj reportedly stated that he never questioned Farhan Akhtar why his character was cut from the film. He did, however, confess that he and Hrithik had a brief conversation about it while working on ‘Super 30.’ Hrithik inquired as to whether ‘Super 30’ was their second or third film. ‘Agneepath’ was all he remembered. Tripathi made him think about ‘Lakshya.’
