ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened another session of coalition parties to decide in tandem on the next general elections in the country, Bol News quoted sources.
As per details, the government will sit with the allies after today’s meeting of the federal cabinet.
Notably, in separate meetings on Monday, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI)-F and Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) had expressed deep concerns over the worsening economic situation in the country.
In today’s meeting, decisive talks will be held with the coalition parties on the overall political situation.

The sources privy to the matter disclosed that if the reforms were not agreed upon in the meeting then the incumbent government would dissolve the assemblies to hold polls.
It is pertinent to mention here that the sources close to PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) unveiled that both the parties are not in favour of immediate polls while Maulana Fazlur Rehman of JUI-F has not depicted his stance yet.
The meeting with the coalition parties will also be briefed about the decision taken after consultation with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
