Authorities claimed a food truck exploded during a seafood festival in Florida over the weekend, badly burning one person.
According to the Vero Beach Police Department, the food truck was part of the Vero Beach Seafood Festival, which was hosted in Riverside Park.
The burn victim was transported to the Burn Unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. The victim and her injuries were not disclosed by police.

Police shared images of the site, which showed that the food truck’s roof had been blasted off and its walls had crumbled outward. The incident was being investigated by the Indian River County Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshall’s Office. (Police Department of Vero Beach)
It remained unclear what prompted the food truck to explode. Indian River County Fire Rescue and an investigator from the State Fire Marshall’s Office were on the scene. Police did not provide any other information on the victim.
Despite the tragedy, the seafood festival remained accessible to the public.
