The first episode of the star-studded drama series Fraud drew a lot of interest. The drama series stars Saba Qamar, Mikaal Zulfikar, and Ahsan Khan in prominent roles. And the trio is making a comeback after a long period. Janjabeel Asim Shah wrote the script, while Saqib Khan directed the film.

It is safe to say that the first episode is more like a prologue and introduction to the character and the storyline.
The drama opens up with Maya having a nightmare. Her sister Mayera already knew that she was having yet another nightmare surrounding her wedding. Why? We will find out soon.
Scene changes to Nisar, the girl’s father shopping for himself and his widowed sister, Shaziya. We learned that he expects his daughters to marry a businessman so they can live a life of luxury.
Nayal Maya’s cousin takes a liking for her but the ‘rishta’ was soon rejected by Nisar. As Nayal was a salaried person.
Later the episode takes a turn towards another character, Tabraiz. Who along with his mother prepares to deceive yet another girl.

From the looks of it, the drama seems an interesting one, with a better and improved storyline. But isn’t that what is expected from Saba Qamar anyway? My guess is that the girl that Tabraiz is planning to deceive is Maya herself. And that is where the title came in from.
