Ukraine holds 10% of the Luhansk region’s area, including the cities of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, as well as the outskirts of Rubizhne and the Hirske village.
On Telegram, Serhii Haidai, the chairman of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, stated this.
“Ukraine controls ten percent of the Luhansk region’s territory. The suburbs of Rubizhne, the cities of Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk (including villages and towns inside the communities), the Hirske community, and the area along the Lysychansk-Bakhmut road up to the Donetsk region’s border are currently under our control “he wrote.
According to him, the Russians set fire to a building of the Sievierodonetsk hospital on purpose. A dozen shells were deliberately fired towards the medical institution’s building.
There were 300 beds for patients before the bombardment; now there are just 100. Approximately 10,000 people remain in the city, with an additional 5,000 in the surrounding settlements.
On May 14, Russian invaders bombarded Sievierodonetsk with 11 artillery strikes. They targeted private residences, a chemical company, a technical school, and a hospital. Nine individuals were injured by enemy assaults just last night.
