According to an adviser to Mariupol’s mayor, water shortages have become the “number one issue” in the beleaguered port city.

“The Russians are attempting to create the illusion that everything in the city is fine. However, water scarcity and supply remain the city’s top concerns “NBC News translated Petro Andriushchenko’s Telegram message from Sunday.
“As feared, the restoration of centralised water supply has devolved into a farce,” he remarked. “The drinking water supply is insufficient. There are long lines at the bottling stations, but even there isn’t enough water to go around.”
Andriushchenko went on to say that “low-mobility and elderly individuals” in the city were having trouble acquiring water.
