The Russian blockade, Zelenskyy says, might result in a food scarcity

“Russian leaders are also publicly threatening the globe that dozens of nations would face famine,” Zelenskyy stated.

Russian Blockade

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday in a late-night video message that Russia’s blockade of Ukrainian ports is “causing a large-scale food crisis,” as he questioned countries that delayed imposing penalties on Moscow and deferred aid to Ukraine.

He said, “Russian leaders are also publicly threatening the world with famine in dozens of countries.” “And what may such a famine’s effects be?” What kind of political unrest and migrant flows will result? How much money will you need to pay to avoid the consequences?”

His remarks come after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that his country “does not support” Finland and, maybe, Sweden joining NATO.
