Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Berlin on Sunday; they discussed the country’s need for more weapons and other supplies. After the meeting, Kuleba tweeted that the two discussed the continuation of food shipments to Africa and Asia.
Finland’s President Sauli Niinisto and Prime Minister Sanna Marin declared the country’s intention to apply for NATO membership. The decision is expected to be approved by the Finnish Parliament; and a membership application will most likely be submitted to NATO headquarters in Brussels next week.
