After Sheikh Khalifa’s death, Indian Vice President to visit UAE
New Delhi: In a token of altruism, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will visit the UAE on Sunday to give India’s sympathies over the downfall of Sheik Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
Sheik Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the Gulf country, died on Friday in the wake of engaging ailment for a very long time.
“VP M Venkaiah Naidu will visit UAE on May 15 to give sympathies in the interest of the Government of India to the UAE initiative on the miserable death of Sheik Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi,” the MEA said in an articulation.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday communicated sympathies over the dying of Sheik Khalifa.
Outer Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited the UAE international safe haven in New Delhi on Saturday to convey India’s sympathies.
“Marked the sympathy book at the Embassy of United Arab Emirates, expanding our most profound sympathies on the dying of HH Sheik Khalifa canister Zayed Al Nahyan, late President of the UAE,” Mr Jaishankar tweeted.
India noticed a day of public grieving on Saturday as a characteristic of regard to Sheik Khalifa.
“Under the authority of Sheik Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the India-UAE ties thrived extraordinarily to the common advantage of individuals of the two nations. He took extraordinary consideration of the enormous Indian people group in UAE, who held him in the high regard,” the MEA said.
It said the two nations will keep on taking forward their memorable and complete vital relationship in new and different regions.
