In Kyiv on Saturday, a Senate delegation led by Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Andrii Sybiha, the deputy head of Zelenskyy’s office, described the senators as “real friends of Ukraine” and uploaded photos of the meeting on his Facebook page.
He wrote, “Today, our state enjoys strong nonpartisan and bipartisan backing from American friends.” “As well as the people of America.”
